One Month Old

I can't believe I've been a mom for a whole month. When will it begin to feel normal?

The sweet baby is smiling and cooing so much these days. And before I get hit with requests for photos and video footage from the grandmothers, let me assure you that Elrod and I are looking for our misplaced video camera and memory cards with all earnestness. As soon as one or the other are found, we will post video of our sweet pumpkin-butt (we use cloth diapers!) smiling and almost laughing.

We think he's about to discover his hands as he keeps accidentally grabbing onto things that we put in the way of his waving arms. At any rate, he looks around and responds to sounds and voices more and more everyday.

Everyday we become more convinced that ours is the cutest little baby in the world. We even think he's cute when cries though he's pitiful to watch and taxing to endure.

Well, mom is tired and she mostly just wanted to say 'happy one month since your birth day.'
